Goodness – The 6th Fruit of the Holy Spirit

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control (Galatians 5:22).

The Bible says that God’s goodness will lead sinners to repentance and salvation. The quality of kindness is another quality that must possess through you.

This particular quality has real strength for it. God’s goodness not only attracts people directly to Him, but the fruit of good that operates on believers can bring people directly to God through true believers. Spirit-filled saints who walk with many of these fruits work through them like magnets. Many people who have saved through a believer say that what attracts them is the love and kindness they see shining through the believer.

Jesus said that we must bring His light and we must let that light shine before men and not try to hide it. Part of His view is the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit that shines through anointed believers. Unbelievers attract someone who has several levels of these nine fruits that manifests them.

However, there is something special about the quality of kindness. Many Christians can effectively witness to others only by living righteously and being an excellent example for others to follow. Many unbelievers carefully watch and study some Christians because they know something is different about them.

One of the essential qualities that will be accepted by people who don’t believe in Christians is this kindness. These qualities can go deep into the core of a believer’s personality. For those who have this quality, you can say that it is something that operates deep within them. This quality is not something that can be ignored like some other qualities. These people get to the core of their personality. You can see it and feel it when you go around with people like this.

Seeing God’s goodness embedded in their personalities, you feel safe around them because you know you can trust them, and you know they will never hurt you.

Children quickly feel and take this quality in people who have it. Christians of this type attract children and adults to them like magnets. This is why this unique fruit and quality is so essential for every Christian to have. With that, you can quickly attract more people to God.

God’s goodness leads people to repentance and salvation – God’s goodness works through anointed believers who can attract unbelievers into salvation. Also, God’s goodness can be transmitted and enhanced into your personality through the power of the Holy Spirit. You can have the true virtue of God shining through you to reach out to others if you are willing to work with the Holy Spirit in this sanctification process.

Goodness in actual manifestation, a virtue that is complemented by action, abundant tendency to want and do what is right, intrinsic goodness generates the generosity of God’s creatures.

The word generous means the fact of being helpful or doing good.

This extraordinary quality is a potent fruit that must operate in your personality because of the power of the image it has. Also, the beautiful part about this fruit is that its quality is very pure – it has no manipulative attributes in it.

In other words, the perfect person can’t even try and use or manipulate you to his advantage because he is too good and too right, even to start thinking like that. This is why people like this can be trusted, and why so many people are attracted to it – because you feel very safe around them.
